KIKO Face Make-up Fixer -- Review

First off, let's go over the claims of this product:

"Fragrance-free make up fixer spray.

Its formula, with cosmetic alcohol that evaporates instantaneously, allows for extreme fixing of your make up, without changing it.

Imperceptible and non-sticky, Make Up Fixer is mild on the face thanks to the special Chamomile extract formula.

The’ elegant 75 ml size is perfect both to carry in your bag for that last minute touch up, and to keep beside your make up mirror as a final touch for flawless make up."

My biggest complaint with this product, is that it claims to be "fragrance free".  To me, this has a very strong scent of what I imagine an old man is southern Italy would smell like. It smells like some kind of cologne. Which normally wouldn't bother me, but the smell lingers for a annoying amount of time.

But lets get to the point: the performance of the product. 

The first red flag for me is the words 'cosmetic alcohol'. Alcohol is very drying to the skin and I don't like the idea of spraying it onto my face.

But I looked past it, and tried it out anyways.

This really does evaporate as soon as it hits the skin. It gives a cooling sensation and actually feels quite nice. Because it evaporates so quickly, this spray doesn't take away an over powdered look, or give a glow. And it also doesn't help the makeup to blend into the skin like other setting sprays. 

The most important part for me is whether or or not it gives lasting power to my foundation.

Unfortunately, I honestly didn't find that this spray gave any lasting power -- or any benefits at all.

This fixing spray was a huge disappointment.

Exciting news!

An Inglot store has opened in Switzerland!!

(located in the löwen center in Luzern)

So, I had to go check it out.

The pricing of the products are slightly below MAC prices (in my opinion).

They have SO MANY products, and so much to offer!

Inglot has very unique pallets. They have blush, lip, and eyeshadow pallets that are completely customizable.

The thing that impressed me the most, were these incredible brushes. They are made of real fur, and are very clearly labeled which fur each brush is made of. These brushes are amazing quality, and the softest bristles I have ever felt.

Was mich am meisten beeindruckt hat sind die wunderschönen Pinsel. Sie sind aus echtem Haar und es wird klar definiert von wo das Haar kommt. Diese Pinsel sind qualitativ hervorragend und sind extrem weich.

These pigments were GORGEOUS. They had every color you could dream of, including every shade of glitter, and even holographic glitter pigments!

Diese Pigmente waren wunderschön. Sie haben alle Farben die man sich vorstellen könnte, auch Glitzer Pigmente und sogar holografische Pigmente!

They also have any lashes you could possibly dream of. But if that's not your thing, don't worry, they also have wearable everyday lashes.

Auch bei den Wimpern haben sie alles was man sich wünschen könnte. Falls euch das ein wenig zu bunt ist haben sie auch Wimpern die sich perfekt für den täglichen Gebrauch eignen.

I was actually surprised to see that they have nail polish as well. They literally have every color you could ever need.

They even have an array of concealers and foundations!

I am very excited that Inglot has come to 

Switzerland. I have heard so much about this brand, and I can't wait to try out some new products!

Holy grail body lotion.

I've never been one to care about moisturizing my body. But I've always applied lotion after showers just because I thought I should. I never consistently used a body lotion, and never felt any difference in my skin.
But now I've found something that I have repurchased, and will continue to repurchase. I love the Dove visible effects body lotion.

First off, this smells AMAZING. If they made a purfume in this scent, I would buy it. It smells very clean and fresh.

It also leaves my skin feeling plump and moisturized for over 24 hours. 

I love applying this, and it makes my dry skin feel hydrated.

Cream Blush Brush.

I have been a lover of cream blush for a long while. I love the natural glowy finish that it gives.
But I had been applying it with my fingers, simply because I couldn't find a brush that applied it the way I liked. Applying cream blush with fingers is fine, but I sometimes find that it can get patchy or wipe away my foundation.
But this brush has chaged everything.

This is the Real Techniques Stippling Brush. 

I love everything about it. 

The density of this brush is perfection.

The white bristles pick up the perfect amount of product, while the black bristles blend it out flawlessly.

I even love the thickness of this brush (despite that it's a hassle to pack in my kit for clients), it has a nice weight and feels nice in my hands. 

And the long ferril makes this brush so easy to clean without worrying too much about getting water into it.

I love this brush.

Moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.

Guys, I have found something that makes my hair very, very happy.

I usually have very dry and frizzy hair.

This I am shampoo and conditioner makes my hair SO soft and shiney. It makes me dry hair feel moisturized and healthy. 

For the first time I can wear my natural hair texture (and use no heat!) without my hair becoming a big frizzy mess throughout the day. My hair stays smooth and soft all day.

Even when it's humid!

And it smells AMAZING. 

But the best part is that these only cost about 3 CHF each. 

I will definately be repurchacing this duo over and over.

Tea Tree Oil - My new best friend.

For the past two months, I have been mixing in 4 drops of tea tree oil with my facial moisturizer morning and night.
AND IT HAS CHANGED MY SKIN DRAMITICALLY.

This little bottle of miracles has cleared up 90% of my breakouts. And now I cannot live without it.

(I still get hormonal breakouts, but I don't think anything could stop those little devils from coming.)

I highly recommend you try this.

Lash glue war.

I feel like I've tried (struggled with) every lash glue on the market. 

I seemed to have a problem with every one. Too watery, too difficult to get onto the lashes, never gets tacky...there was always something to complain about. 

But I've finally found the perfect lash glue for me. And now I can wear lashes whenever da heck I want.

This beauty is the Revlon Precision Lash 

Adhesive. 'The one.'

Pros:

-Drugstore (great price AND easy to find!)

-Dries clear (also comes in a dark formula)

-Easy brush application 

-Gets tacky quickly

-Stays in place all day

Cons: 

-After a few months, some dried up glue collects around the opening
